Mission

To offer accessible, no-cost Christian formation programs to adults and young adults on the Westside of Los Angeles, meeting them wherever they are in life, faith, or circumstance.

Vision

Communities where every adult who wants to learn, be married better, grieve well, mentor a young person, or simply be a good neighbor has a real invitation and a steady group of people to walk with them.

Values

  • Small groups over big events
  • Volunteer-led, low-overhead
  • No cost to participants
  • Referrals over recruitment
  • Long relationships over program churn
Our Work · Five Programs

What we actually run, week to week

We are a small foundation. We run five programs, no more, no less, and we run them consistently. The list has not changed since 2018 because the need has not changed either.

01
Introductory study series

Foundations

An eight-week small-group study for adults new to the Christian faith or returning after time away. Meets weekly at partner churches in Los Angeles County.

Next cohort: Autumn, see Events

02
Marriage enrichment

Together

A guided weekend retreat and quarterly follow-up for married couples. Emphasis on communication, forgiveness, and shared spiritual practice.

By registration, space limited

03
Grief and transition support

Life After

A pastoral companionship group for adults navigating grief, divorce, retirement, or unexpected life change. Meets twice monthly with trained lay leaders.

Open enrollment, no cost

04
Community outreach

Neighbors

Practical service to older adults and families in the Culver City to Mar Vista corridor: meals, transportation, home visits, and small-repair days.

Volunteer sign-up

05
Mentorship program

Youth Bridge

A structured mentorship program pairing high-school-age young adults with vetted adult volunteers for weekly conversation and life coaching.

In their words

From people who have walked with us

"The Foundations study met me exactly where I was. I came in skeptical and left with real friendships and a real prayer life. I did not expect the second part."

Miguel A. Alumnus, Foundations 2022

"After my husband's passing, Life After was the only place I could sit with what I was actually feeling. The leaders did not rush me and did not offer easy answers. That was the gift."

Beverly K. Life After participant

"Youth Bridge paired me with a mentor when I was seventeen and honestly lost. Six years later I'm still in touch with him and now I mentor two younger boys myself."

Devon R. Alumnus turned mentor, class of 2019
